As most Bluetooth receivers do not support Coded PHY mode or even only on BLE 4, to be detectable by those Bluetooth devices, the AROCO beacon is programmable for broadcasting on BLE 4.2 or/and BT 5 Long Range (Coded PHY) mode
• EXTRA LONG BATTERY LIFE: Powered by CR2477 (3V 1000mAH) coin battery (not included), 4 times more than CR2032. Subject to settings chosen, the beacon could last longer than a year. For demanding customers and reducing replacement of battery, optional extended battery compartment is available for use with 2 x Type-C battery (about 5000mAh)
• MECHANICALLY SECURED: Only configurable after pressing a button. Also, configuration process requires secure authentication
• iBeacon FORMAT COMPATIBLE: Include embedded data such as UUID, Major, Minor, battery level and extra data (model dependent)

The iBeacon-compatible beacon is specially designed for location-based applications. With selected receiver, it can be sensed at a speed up to 70km/hr.
